MINTECH is a wholly owned Australian company operating for over 30 years in the mining sector’s Drill and Blast operations. In 1986 Mintech invented the first GASBAG, an inflatable mechanical plug used in boreholes to improve blasting results. Since its invention, GASBAGS have been widely adopted worldwide, recognized for their ease of use and ability to enhance blasting performance. Our focus on delivering cost-effective blasting solutions remains today as it did over three decades ago.
